Pavel Durov, the top executive at Telegram, has been released from police custody in France. He’s not off the hook yet, however, as he will soon appear in court to answer for a number of alleged crimes related to his popular messaging platform. The government has said that his platform is being used to facilitate criminal activity.
OpenAI, Adobe and Microsoft Back California Bill Requiring AI-Generated Content Labels
Adobe and Microsoft, along with OpenAI, have switched sides and now back a California bill requiring tech companies to label AI-generated content. The bill aims to add watermarks to AI-produced photos, videos, and audio files, as well as have online platforms clearly mark AI-generated content.
OpenSea Receives Wells Notice from SEC
OpenSea is a marketplace for unique digital assets known as NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. They're like digital collectibles or art, and are stored on a blockchain, kind of like a digital receipt that proves ownership. The SEC is complaining that some of these NFTs are basically digital stocks and should be registered as securities. The CEO is saying they're not and he's willing to fight for the industry.

Falcon 9 is a reusable launch vehicle used by SpaceX for satellite missions, commercial resupply services to the International Space Station, and other space-related endeavors. Despite being a reliable workhorse, the rocket experienced a rare mishap, losing control on the droneship and going up in flames.
