It was a slow news day - and this reflects in today’s newsletter.
Geek Gossip

According to iOS security researchers, this is not a security issue and there’s “no evidence yet to suggest anyone other than an iOS device owner manually typing the characters could trigger this bug”

In Case You Missed It
We previously posted about the Google GenAI Hackathon taking place. There’s an update to this - a roadshow! 6 cities have been selected for the roadshow to take place and registrations are now open for the roadshow. (We are not sure ourselves how the roadshow will play a role in the hackathon and have not come across a roadshow for a hackathon before. Our guess is that it is being called a “Roadshow” but the event itself will most likely take place at a regular conference-esque venue). Still, a good opportunity to network with like minded individuals.
Serverless Days will take place in Bengaluru on 31st August. What to expect? The conference offers a diverse experience with global tech speakers, 3 curated tracks, over 10 exhibitors, 20+ sessions, and ample networking opportunities. Attendees include developers and decision-makers, with a focus on serverless technology, learning, and collaboration.
