#npm - Over the weekend, NPM private package installation was broken and users were freaking out - all tokens appeared to have been wiped and no one could install newly published private packages. Itβs resolved now - the npm devs for sure didnβt have a good weekend though.

Google Cuts Jobs Amid Restructuring
Google is a multinational tech giant, and its Platforms and Devices division oversees Pixel phones, Nest devices, Android, ChromeOS, and Chrome browser. Last week, it reportedly laid off hundreds of employees from this division, following a "voluntary exit plan" offered in January, as part of its effort to become more "nimble" and efficient.
Meta Faces Landmark Antitrust Trial
Meta, formerly known as Facebook, will face the Federal Trade Commission in a legal fight that could reshape the social media landscape. The FTC will try to prove that the company's 2012 acquisition of Instagram and 2014 acquisition of WhatsApp squashed potential threats to its dominance. They are asking for Meta to be broken up.
