Jio Platforms Partners With SpaceX To Bring Starlink To India
Would they be credited with bringing Starlink to India? Not sure about that - because Airtel announced yesterday they were partnering with SpaceX for the same reason. Anyway, Jio Platforms Limited (JPL) has announced a partnership with Elon Musk’s SpaceX to bring Starlink to customers across India. The agreement hinges on SpaceX securing the necessary authorisations from the Indian government to sell Starlink within India. Jio plans to distribute Starlink solutions via retail outlets and online platforms.

Tata Technologies Hit By Ransomware Attack, Data Leaked
Few days ago we had reported that Tata Technologies was hit by a ransomware attack. Well, it seems now the attackers have leaked confidential data. Hunters International has published some of the data it claims to have stolen from Tata Technologies. The leaked data includes personal details about some current and former employees at Tata Technologies, as well as confidential information. The data set includes over 730,000 documents, including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF files.

Coinbase Enters Indian Market
Coinbase is a big US-based cryptocurrency exchange, basically a platform where people can buy and sell cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. They registered with India's Financial Intelligence Unit, which means they can now offer crypto trading services in India, with plans to launch later this year.

Typescript Gets A Speed Boost
Yep - this deserves the news section. Microsoft announced a major update for TypeScript, a programming language used for building large applications. They're working on a native port of the TypeScript compiler and tools, which will improve performance by 10x and reduce memory usage. This means faster build times, quicker editor startup, and better support for large projects. They're already seeing impressive results, with some popular projects loading 10x faster.
