Geek Gossip

#MacBookPro - Apple may update the design of the MacBook Pro in 2026. The computer was originally expected to arrive in 2025, but is experiencing delays. The new MacBook Pro may also come with a thinner design, a design Apple ditched when it introduced Apple Silicon to the Pro models.

#OneUI7 - Samsung has scheduled the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) Korea on November 21. We expect One UI 7 Beta to potentially release on the same date. One UI team is going through a difficult phase right now, with OneUI 7 delayed until January 2025.

#Okta - Okta had a security hole could have allowed criminals to pass authentication using only a username. The bug could be exploited only when a series of conditions were met. One of those conditions - you had to have a username that was 52 characters or longer! Wonder if this finding was a result of an internal audit or a white hat hacker.

#Bing - Microsoft is desperately trying to attract users to its Bing search engine. It is offering a $1 million prize to users of its Bing search engine. The contest is open to anyone with a Microsoft account and a willingness to rely on Bing's search results (in select countries of course).
