Cloudflare Experiences The Largest DDoS Attack - at 3.7 Terrabits per second.
A large-scale distributed denial-of-service attack, targeting financial services, internet, and telecom sectors, reached 3.8 Tbps, the largest publicly recorded. It was a month-long campaign of over 100 attacks, using compromised devices like Asus routers, Mikrotik devices, DVRs, and web servers. Cloudflare mitigated the attacks and noted that the one peaking at 3.8Tbps lasted only 65 seconds.
